ah, friday mornings, how i loathe thee. i've got about half an hour between the end of my engineering lab and the beginning of urban public issues, and right now i'm sitting in mcbryde by the vending machines. my back's against the window, which is cold, because it's rather nippy outside, but i'm sitting on the heater. which is ever so slightly on it's "warm" mode i suppose. these things'll be going full blast later in the year and i'll have to find another place to sit. but it's nice for now. it's like having heated seats in a car. except....in a hallway. but i'm kindof bored. no one's online. not that i would expect them to be, before 10am on a friday. georgia tech game tomorrow. also chris' birthday tomorrow. fall break next weekend. i.e. i'll be home the night of friday the 6th and i'm going back to school late monday night. so if anyone else is at home that weekend, we need to do something fun. seriously. call me.

i do not have enough room on my desk to actually get things done...usually when i'm doing homework i need my computer out, a notebook, and either a book or a large packet of printouts. there just isn't room for all of those on my desk at one time. which means i spend a lot of my homework time sideways in my chair leaning back against the wall with my feet up on the side of my bed, using my knees as a workspace. and turning sideways whenever i need to type or turn the page. i think i need to develop a new system.

fruzsina made a certain comment to the extent that my blog is SO DEAD. it's not SO dead. it's only slightly dead. perhaps it screams "i'm not dead yet!" as it is being wheeled away in a wheelbarrow. who knows. but anyway, an update. just for fru.
it's almost 2:30 on saturday/sunday night. i just got back from east campbell, where roya (the girl who stayed in our room at orientation) lives. we had a fucking blast. and we just stayed in her room the whole time. which is not to say we did not get severely um....fun-ified. her room is the mecca of weekend enjoyment. seriously. if you know the orientation fun stories, multiply that by like four and a half. and that was tonight. i shall now sleep.
